This gave me three working screens in total. No problems on old 8. Updated to Win 10 on laptop while still docked. All went well until I turned on both monitors. Nothing except Thinkpad screen. Turned both off. Turned on one, extended desktop to Samsung 1. Turned on Samsung 2.
Samsung 1 went blank and left me with only Thinkpad monitor. Okay, works with only one extra monitor but other monitor now looking sadly dark. Result: There is no support driver for Win 10 from Nvidia for Quadro. If I am right the single extra monitor is running on the Thinkpad’s own Intel driver. Could the Microsoft Support Engineer please check and confirm this fact: Even if you could manually install the correct driver from Nvidia the next auto update from Win10 would replace it even with an older one.
Learnt this from many web searches. I am also using a Lenovo laptop and two Samsung monitors. Have just upgraded to Windows 10 and can no longer change settings to display on the two monitors. Did you get a response to your query?? Secondly, no, I did not get any response at all from Microsoft. Tried many ways an nothing in 8 months.
Was a good experiment though. Conclusion was that Microsoft support is non-existant when they know they’ve made a mistake. That would be like admitting that they were wrong. Needless to say I’m not impressed.
