Sadly, both leading tech companies are yet to come up with a mechanism to convert these files into an editable format. Needless to say, you can’t just drag and drop files just as easily as you can on the Mac and iOS clients.

After numerous long sessions with Microsoft Windows and Outlook support techs, as well as Apple support techs, I happened upon an Apple support person who apparently did some research and found that Windows 10 Pro does NOT support iCloud for Windows. I went back to Microsoft and a fairly competent Outlook tech did a “work around” and installed iCloud for Windows 7and 8.

I had been relying on iCloud to sync several applications to various devices, but have moved that function to DropBox, which seems to be less fussy about whether Cupertino and Redmond wish to play nice in the sandbox together.
