Hello guys, as you know OEM keys dont work on the windows 7 official download page, so I can’t get it to work and download from the official page, can someone tell me is it legal to download from softlay which has clean ISOs for every kind of windows 7, or from torrents which are not preactivated mind you I will still be using my product key and it won’t be cracked , im just asking if its legal to download isos from third party and then enter my own product key.
Is that legal or it goes against the terms of use of Windows, thank you guys in advance, or if you know some other sources where I can download win7 pro official version, that’d be great. The manufacturer or installer and Microsoft reserve all other rights. Unless applicable law gives you more rights despite this limitation, you may use the software only as expressly permitted in this agreement.
In doing so, you must comply with any technical limitations in the software that only allow you to use it in certain ways.
You cannot be sure about the authenticity of the file downloaded from torrents. Also, Windows 7 has been orphaned now.
You would not get security updates anymore. We have been through this here for years with what you are quoting.
