PAPI’S ENTRANCE… Christ who walks upon the earth is now paving streets of Gold… Be persuaded that His promises are true… To be absent from the body in Christ is to be present before the Lord… Imagine Papi being welcomed through the pearly gates… He sees those in Christ before him awaiting his entrance… There stands the King of kings holding his crown… He peeps to see that the streets are really paved with gold… He take a step in with an enchanted heart… He turns for a last look, and he is sadden to see us morning his departure… Rapidly, the memories of his life as a son, a father, grandfather great grandfather came rushing in… As the memories play,he has no regrets… No regrets of the sacrifices he made leading to the promise of an everlasting life being manifested… God’s promises are true, he wishes to share with us once more… But as the gate opens wider, he wipes the nervous sweat off of his brows…. This he often does while serving here with us… With a smile on his face, He think to himself… My work on Earth was not in vain… If I can make it in so can they… You see Enoch was 65 years old when he accepted God’s calling… Even so, Papi’s message to us would be to not wait this long… Few are living past this age…. Unlike the rich man who didn’t make it in… When your time on Earth is through… As I stand on the other side of the gate at each arrival… I want to see you standing there awaiting your crown… Just to hear God say to you as He said to me… “well done my good and faithful servant “ To those of you whom have accepted Jesus as your Lord and savior, make sure no one causes you to lose your crown! To those who have never accepted him, may today be the day that you say yes to HIS will for your life! And knowing that Our God, he is married to the backsliders…. God is waiting for you with open arms! Fall into HIM and be set free….

I can clearly remember that from early days George was always the fearless , outspoken and very active big brother. He demonstrated leadership qualities from an early age . Before his conversion he was the leader of a group of adventurous boys who sometimes get themselves in trouble with the older folks. On one occasion a man came to the house to give George a sound lashing after our parents had gone on to church ahead of us . Family and well wishers alike were happy when George accepted Jesus as his saviour, as they were all fearing that he was going down the wrong path. Thank God he has continued faithfully in his master's service until the day he left us. We hope to meet again in the Sweet By and By.

Big brother George. I being number six of the eleven of us did not grow up with George, as he was the first to leave home but that did not affect our connection. Words cannot express the sadness of loosing you but the hope of meeting again never to part will recompense . As sister Ruth said George was fearless, always busy but having Godly Parents knew to show referential fear towards God. Hope to see you soon Big brother. We love you but Jesus loves you more. George was the first to migrate to the U. S. Followed by four others. I agree that he loved life love his families loved to cook, and was actively involved in the church activities. We were hoping to have him for as long as ever, but God has His plan. Blessed are the dead who died in the Lord they rest from all their labour's. Hope to see you soon Big brother. ❤️🙏🏻

Time will dull the pain but the precious memories of my beloved big brother (HERO ) lives on. The Curtains Have Fallen... your infectious laughter.. your encouraging words.. your fearless actions.. your hospitality will no longer be displayed on this side of Jordan. I will cherish those five and six hour long phone chats, most of the time reminiscing about HOME SWEET HOME and our childhood days. Your memory was different. You could recall the hour, day, month and year of any event. Whenever we need to recall anything we would just say "Ask George". There are two take- aways that I have from you. When I sat an exam in my teens, I was doubtful that I would pass so I discussed it with you. I started to say, "if I pass my exam, I will".....you stopped me right there and asked..."Ruthy...do you take exams to fail or to pass? Don't say if you pass, say when you pass".... I kept those words going forward and I never failed an exam....Exams are over now but a few months ago I went to the dentist to do an unnecessary extraction (which was eventually aborted). I passed out in the dental chair. When I related the incident to big bro, expecting to get his usual sympathy...he asked, "was the tooth paining?" I said "no but I wanted to extract it before it starts paining." His only reply was, "Ruthy, don't trouble what don't trouble you." So I will live with that saying. George loved life. He lived his life in a cheerful, spirited and selfless way. He was nicknamed BARNABAS by his co-workers and I'm sure that this name was given as a result of the qualities they found in him. Big bro... Sweet Sleep...we hope to meet again.....PRECIOUS MEMORIES!

As I LOOK BACK TO WHEN I FIRST MET ELDER BARRETT WHILE PREACHING AT BISHOP LEE BELL'S ASSEMBLY IN LAKELAND FLORIDA, WHERE I WAS PREACHING FOR 4 NIGHTS OF (REVIVAL SERVICES) WATER CAME TO MY EYES WHEN I HEARD OF HIS PASSING. PAPI, WAS SO BLESSED BY THE MESSAGES, THAT HE MADE CONNECTIONS FOR ME WITH HIS HOME ASSEMBLY IN MIAMI, AND ALSO WITH PASTOR LEIGHTON SMITH, AND ALSO HIS SON COURTNEY, IN MC. DONOUGH GEORGIA, FROM THEN PAPI WAS LIKE A FATHER TO ME, HE WAS TELLING MANY OF THE PREACHERS THAT HE WAS CONNECTED TO, ABOUT ME, AND MY PREACHING GIFT. HE WAS A PHENOMENAL (MAN OF GOD) AND HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED, BY EVERYONE WHO KNEW HIM. HE HAS FOUGH A GOOD FIGHT AND HAS KEPT THE FAITH. (AND HE WILL BE SURELY MISSED BY ALL OF US WHO KNEW HIM. HE WAS UNEQUIVOCALLY A TANGIBLE CHRISTIAN SOLDIER.
